Well done! Your blog was very thorough and easy to understand. Specifically, your clear and concise applications of the signalling principle, redundancy principle and the split-attention principle. In your description of the signalling principle, your connection between colour coding and understanding was great. I completely agree that the enhanced colour on a sketchnote, helps emphasize a specific point. Additionally, to expand on colour, your use of colour on your personal sketchnote amplified its meaning. The way that “taking notes” is highlighted in yellow explains that this is the main concept of the sketchnote. I wonder if, next time, you could split up the text with other images or even by placing your sketchnote higher so the audience can see what you are referencing too earlier on. I think this would be less intimidating to initially look at because sometimes, a big chunk of words can deflect learners. Overall, you did an excellent job!
